Description
You are doing your best. If your loved ones lives nearby, you are visiting them a lot, you would help them with shopping and errands, help them with some chores around the house. If they live far away caring for them is much harder, you worry about them being home on their own, you can call them regularly and try to visit as much as you can. Social Isolation and depression could also stop people from going out, as they may struggle to interact and engage. As time progresses their needs increase and there is only so much you can do, you would like to do more, but you’ve got your job and your own family to think about, too. You are not alone.
At Home Instead Senior Care we recognise the importance of maintaining interests and hobbies as part of promoting independence and dignity for our clients. Our CAREGivers are able to provide support as a Companion, with many becoming Friends.
