Smallbrook is designed to cater for individuals with dementia seeking the very best quality of residential care. The home will accommodate up to 27 residents in well-appointed large, bright, en-suite bedrooms, many with air conditioning. Some bedrooms will cater for those who have higher mobility needs, with ceiling tracks to promote independence. Smallbrook has been designed to create a special ‘boutique style’ homely environment, set in spacious landscaped grounds.

Groups of six or seven bedrooms are served by their own semi-private triangular garden areas. These more personal “retreats” are supplemented by a larger communal garden with mature trees, a south facing terrace and gazebo. The Home benefits from a quiet residential setting, though still very much part of the thriving community of Horley in East Sussex, just a five-minute drive from Gatwick airport.

Our Home Manager Julia, has over 30 years’ exper ience working with care professionals, resulting in great depth to her knowledge and understanding of Dementia care. It is our aim that residents will thrive in an environment designed to enrich and stimulate them on their journey.

Our team of dedicated and attentive staff will ensure a personal centred approach that proactively ensures the challenges that Dementia care presents are handled in a respectful and dignified manner. We also aim to give families peace of mind, secure in the knowledge that our environment will focus on the care needs of each individual throughout their stay with us.
