Optima Care's Shine model of therapeutic care provides the framework for our supported living services for individuals with severe/enduring learning disabilities and complex needs, including mental health issues. It helps ensure that all our services are as individual as the people we support and always goal-orientated. We provide 2 - 5 year transitional pathways for school leavers and also adult services to the age of 65.

We're members of the Housing and Support Alliance, giving us access to a range of Registered Social Landlords, with whom we work closely to match accommodation and support to individual needs.

Enabling independence is key to our tailored pathways. Optima Care's combination of experience and in-house multidisciplinary input - from communications expertise to psychology and psychiatry - makes us uniquely suitable for ensuring that all our people are supported towards achieving their goals.

We also provide enhanced supported living and are currently working on a partnership project with certain NHS Trusts in London to facilitate a post-Winterbourne service. The enhanced supported living accommodation is tailored to need and uses assistive technology, though the complexities who are living within the services requires 24-hour staffing.
