Everyone forgets to take their medication at one time or another. Not taking prescribed drugs at the right dose and at the right time can have major consequences, particularly if they are elderly or vulnerable. The automatic pill dispenser can be easily filled and programmed by the user, relative, career or pharmacist to dispense pills up to 24 times a day. At the pre-programmed times, the dispenser rotates, the alarm signal is heard, and the correct dosage comes into view through the opening in the lid. The alarm can be programmed to ring for up to 5 hours. The pill dispenser can help the person cared for to be independent, and less reliant upon family and carers to take their medication.
