Description

LinkAge Plus is joint funded by Tower Hamlets Council and Tower Hamlets CCG offering outreach to residents over the age of 50.

A partnership of 5 organisations: Age UK East London, Peabody, Neighbours in Poplar, St Hilda's at Sonali Gardens and Toynbee Hall which also acts as the managing agent. 

Activities occur in local settings and the main Hub centres of the partner organisations. Activities on offer include Art, IT sessions for beginners and silver surfers, health promotions workshops, access to osteopathy, reflexology & massage as well as social get togethers to meet new people and socialise, and several volunteering or retraining opportunities. Linkage Plus also offers home visits and one to one support.

LinkAge Plus has Somali and Bengali/Sylheti and other community language speaking staff.

LinkAge Plus has several partnerships in the borough working closely with GP surgeries, hospitals, One Stop Shops, Housing providers, leisure centres and many more.
