What we aim to provide:

Professional and friendly staff providing full support to service users to ensure service users live in a safe, caring environment where they are able to develop independence skills with a view to possibly moving into their own flat in the community in the future.

Care staff and support workers are fully trained and offer a wealth of experience to assist in promoting equality, diversity and culture awareness for all individual needs. Everyone is treated as a valued member and is supported to make choices and decisions.

The service will ensure that all service users have a support plan with short and long terms goals to live independently in the community. The CQC registered care agency will provide a personal care plan. Both plans identify how their assessed needs will be met.

We will also hold bi-monthly service users meetings to enable service users to share information.

To ensure we are able to support our service users to the best standard, staff are trained in the following areas

Staff training of our support workers include

Staff training by the CQC registered domiciliary care agency include;

- risk assessment

- infection control

- medication

- first aid

- moving and handling

- staff are also trained in NVQ / QCF health and social care certificate or equivalent
