What is Employ Me?
Mencap believes that everyone should have the chance to get a job. Our work and training service Employ Me enables people with a learning disability to develop the skills they need for the workplace, find a job and get the most from it.

Who is Employ Me for?
Employ Me is for people with a learning disability who want to work.

How can Employ Me support you?
• Pre-employment support - appropriate training to develop the skills needed to get a paid job
• Work trials and placements - experience in a real work environment
• Support to find paid work - help with searching for a paid job through a range of employers, CV writing and interview preparation
• Job coaching and in-work support - help to learn new skills and cope with change.

When is Employ Me available?
The service is usually provided during weekdays, however we are flexible to the needs of each individual and can offer evening and weekend support if needed for a specific job role.

Where is Employ Me available?
We offer this service to people living in Barnsley, Bradford, Doncaster, Hull, Leeds, Manchester, North Lincolnshire, Rotherham, Sheffield and Wakefield.

How can you access Employ Me?
You can access Employ Me using your personal budget or other form of direct payment, by paying with private funds, or with funding directly from your local authority or the Department of Work and Pensions.

Pricing information
The price specified is a guide and may vary depending on individual needs and requirements. We can enable individuals to pool funding and share support if appropriate.
