So what, exactly, is live-in care?
Live-in care provides the means for you or a family member to live at home rather than spending more time in a hospital or other accommodation. Most people prefer to be in their homes – in comfortable and familiar surroundings – so that they are independent and able to follow their normal routines, have the freedom of choice over meals, go shopping, watch TV, receive visitors, socialise and take outings.

And being in your own home has other benefits too: living with your partner, being part of the community, retaining the love and affection of your pet, being able to go to bed or get up when you wish to.

As the term ’live-in’ suggests, a Loga Care carer or personal assistant supports a client by living with them in their own home. They sleep there, in their own room, and help around the home so that the client can live independently.

Depending on each client’s specific needs, our carers follow a bespoke personalised care plan that is developed with the client, family and where appropriate, healthcare professionals.
