For instance, I had performed a variety of deaf and disabled clients including bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, mobility, shopping, appointment schedules, ambulation and transferring.
I am also well versed in meal planning. preparation and serving, housekeeping, laundry and medication reminders. Besides I am able to efficiently giving companionship to keep the clients engaged in routine life.

I am deaf. I am using BSL signs. I have working as a personal assistant for Aspire pc for the past 5 years and recently completed my NVQ 2 qualification. I now seek the opportunity to find a post that will increase my responsibilities. Everything that I do at work serves to fulfil the needs and wishes of the person I support. I work in a person centred way and as part of a team that aims to help the person achieve his goals in a risk assessed and safe way. My role involves administering medication, personal care and sourcing community based opportunities. I regard myself as the personal assistant within the team and would now like to uses my qualities and experience in a role when I can mentor newer staff as well as support the individual who uses the service.
