Personalised and person-centred support to enable disabled people to find and sustain paid employment and/or volunteer placements. Our Employment and Independent Living Advisors work with clients to support them to identify their employment goals and aspirations, find appropriate job-related training and qualifications and develop their skills in job searching, CV and Job Application writing and Interview technique. Our Advisors will also advocate for clients with employers to ensure that the clients access needs are understood and met and can provide support at interviews and workplace induction. They will also assist clients with applications to the Government's Access To Work Scheme, which can provide on-going financial assistance for access needs and support clients in discussions with their to secure Reasonable Adjustments in the workplace.
