Dial-a-Ride Southern Services is supported by Worthing Borough Council, West Sussex County Council and The Big lottery.

Dial-a-Ride is for people within the Borough of Worthing and visitors who are unable to use public transport because of a permanent or temporary disability or communication   impairment.  Our vehicles are specially adapted and equipped to carry less able passengers, with or without wheelchairs.  The minibuses have low steps, lots of handles, a lift and wheelchair clamping facilities

We will pick you up from your home and return you later in the day at agreed times. We may pick up and drop off other people on the way to your destination but will aim to arrive within 10 minutes of the prearranged time.  We would also ask you to be ready 10 minutes before your arranged pick up time.  You may also take a friend, relative or carer with you who will be charged the same fare.

Dial-a-Ride is used for a full range of activities including:
• shopping
• visiting friends or relatives
• libraries
• theatre matinees
• clubs
• hairdressers
• bingo
• dentists, GPs & health centres
• work & college
• We can also take you to Shopmobility
We unfortunately cannot take you to hospital appointments.  We cannot promise to provide you with transport, but we will always try our best.

Pricing
We split Worthing into different zones and the final cost of your journey will depend on how many zones you cross through.  The price of £5.70 is for one zone, for two zones it is £7.20 and for three £8.70 for a return trip.  If you just wish to book a single trip, please see the relevant item within our store.
Once we know the details of your journey we can confirm the final price to you.
