<p>Bingley Wingfield Home provides nursing, residential and dementia care. It is located in Bingley, a market town close to Bradford.</p> <p><strong>Dining at Bingley Wingfield</strong><br />Food is an important part of all our lives and forms a focal point for our Residents who can enjoy their meal in the dining room, in the lounge or in the comfort of their own room. We offer a number of choices at every meal, if there is something on the menu that is not to your taste an alternative is always offered. During the day regular tea, coffee and soft drinks are available together with a selection of home baked cakes. For those who wish a light snack is served at supper.</p> <p>All our meals and snacks are homemade, we try to use local suppliers and fresh ingredients. The menu is designed to meet the nutritional requirements of the Residents.</p> <p><strong>Bedrooms </strong><br />The bedrooms at Bingley Wingfield are designed for Residents' needs, with the majority offering en-suite facilities. Many have gorgeous views over the Bingley. Where appropriate specialist profile beds (with electric motors to adjust the resident’s position) and air mattresses are used. Residents are encouraged to bring in both their own furniture and personal effects to personalise their room.</p> <p><strong>Facilities at Bingley Wingfield</strong><br />Communal areas in the home include spacious lounges, a dining/entertainments room and a beautiful garden area. In the summer Residents are encouraged to make use of this facility.</p> <p>The activities are designed to provide both mental and physical stimulation. There is a fully trained activities co-ordinator who plans and manages the activities within the home. Activities include both group and individual activities as well as special events to mark occasions such as Christmas. Relatives and friends are welcome to join in. Activities include group games, visits by local entertainers and films.</p> <p><strong>Types of care provided</strong><br /><strong>Bingley Wingfield provides the following types of care:</strong><br />• Residential care<br />• Residential nursing care (for people who require frequent nursing care 24 hours a day)<br />• Dementia care (both residential and nursing)<br />• Short term respite care (for example to give carers a break or assist people coming out of hospital)<br />• End of life palliative care – where our highly experienced staff can offer compassionate understanding and support to the individual, family and friends at this difficult time.</p> <p>Please note the price shown is a typical cost for this service and is dependent on your individual needs and requirements.
