Description
The Bromley by Bow Centre has a long history of providing innovative, creative, and supportive adult health and wellbeing services in Tower Hamlets.
Social Care is one of the Centre's key areas of delivery as part of our Adult Health and Wellbeing programme. We work with adults with a range of learning, physical and mental health support needs, as well as older people, to build a programme of support and activity sessions based on their needs, interests, and aspirations.
Our Social Care service promotes inclusion, independence and learning through activities and gives people the ability to develop new social networks and friendships. Our sessions are delivered in multi-purpose craft and activity rooms and sometimes outdoors in parkland and gardens. There are IT facilities and a cafe on site, all fully accessible.
A variety of outreach services and support is provided in the community. Clients can choose from a range of creative and skills development workshops, including:
- Arts based sessions
- Drama
- Ceramics, Mosaic and Textiles
- Arts and Crafts
- Health and wellbeing
- Seated Exercise, Dance and Movement
- Horticulture
- 1 to 1 support to access the community and pursue individual interests
Our services cost £63 to £98 per day.
