The Light prides itself on providing individualised specialist rehab packages for those recovering from loss of movement and function.
We work closely with individuals physiotherapists and OT's to follow exercise and rehabilitation plans for a variety of needs. They will aim to provide a detailed assessment of the rehab required following professional advice within an agreed period, along with supporting you in your recovery.
The Light always put great care into making sure you receive all of the help you need by listening carefully to you and your individual requirements, and tailoring your rehab package around you.
We make sure your expectations are met whilst also catering to your physical, emotional and social needs.
Our dedicated staff and there to support you every step of the way in any way we can. We also make a commitment to building strong, positive, professional relationships with any other professionals that are involved in your care and support, as we believe that working together as a team will bring the best results and outcomes for you.
Our physiotherapy and rehabilitation packages include a number of specialist exercises that the physiotherapist will perform, including;
Movement & Exercise plans - Following professional advice and working alongside physiotherapists, taking into account a person’s current level of health and their specific requirements
Manual therapy techniques – where the physiotherapist aids recovery by using their hands to relieve muscle pain and stiffness, and encourage blood flow to an injured part of the body
Hydro-therapy – Attendance and support for you to attend your physiotherapy session carried out in water
Rehabilitation and after care are a critical part of the work, and our dedicated team of trained healthcare professionals will support you throughout this time, giving you guidance and individualised treatment throughout.
***Please note: All of our services have a 2hr per visit per week minimum commitment*** and the price shown is a typical cost for this service and is dependent on your individual needs and requirements. Once these have been discussed we can confirm a price.
