Description
Lifelong Learning aims to promote learning and training opportunities for all Carers, particularly those who do not have easy access to educational resources due to barriers like caring commitments or financial constraints. We recognise that caring for a loved one can be a rewarding experience but can also leave you feeling isolated, stressed and tired.
You may feel that your whole life revolves around your caring role and there is very little time for you. Having an interest, hobby or activity outside of the home can be a positive and life changing experience and can provide some vital me time. Activity can be work related, to promote health and well-being such as yoga or dance or academic, leading to a qualification. It could be taking up a new hobby such as golf or painting or returning to a hobby or interest you have had to set aside.
Course can be funded and alternative care can be provided free of charge, we may also be able to help with transport costs. Lifelong Learning is subject to a Carer Needs Assessment. If you have not already had one, we can arrange this for you.
For further information, and to confirm your requirements and price, please submit an information request outlining your requirements and we will respond, alternatively please contact us on 01652 650585.
