The Light truly specialise in providing and developing complete packages of care for people who have experienced an Aquired Brain Injury, Spinal Injury or any catastrophic Injury.

We have experience and an excellent reputation of working in partnerships with the local CCG’s and private case management companies to provide the highest quality of care and support for people within their own home.

Brain Injury
The Light has a team of support workers who have a range previous experience and up to date specialist training supporting people with Traumatic (TBI) and Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).

Following an initial assessment, we will carefully design a care plan that is centred around your needs and wishes.  We take great care in putting together all the right information and sharing it in a way that you are happy with. We want your care plan to reflect your expectations and aspirations, whilst ensuring that your medical, physical, emotional and social needs are met safely and to the highest of standards. We will work closely and alongside you the individual and your families. We also make a commitment to building strong, positive, professional relationships with any other professionals that are involved in your care and support, as we believe that working together as a team will bring the best results and outcomes for you.

The Light have experience working within multidisciplinary packages of care, always ensuring we work closely with other professionals involved in our clients recovery/ rehabilitation such as
physiotherapists, OT's, Specialist nurses, Psychiatrists and Speech and language therapists, consultants, alternative therapists.

Spinal Injury
The Light can provide a team of specialist trained health care professionals to provide care at home to people who have a spinal injury. Our health care professionals are trained to give care to people who are affected by a variety of injuries including quadriplegia, paraplegia and tetraplegia.

***Please note: All of our services have a 2hr per visit per week minimum commitment*** and the price shown is a typical cost for this service and is dependent on your individual needs and requirements. Once these have been discussed we can confirm a price.
