Description
Terrace Garden Adult Day Centre is for adults who are generally independent or require low level support. We aim to provide a safe friendly and caring day service with meaningful activities in a stimulating environment. We positively encourage social interaction with other service users and support staff to help prevent isolation and make a difference in an individual’s daily wellbeing. We recognise individual’s needs and will meet prospective service users in advance to discuss requirements and create a support plan.
As a day centre we also aim to provide respite to carers.
Our service has three packages available
1) Pay as you go this service is pre booked with 24 hours’ notice. This is charged on per hourly rate £6.75. Transport is not included this would be an additional fee.
2) Half day session sessions are 9.30am-1.30pm or 1.30pm-5.30pm this includes activities and refreshment with a meal with dessert. Transport can be arranged an additional fee maybe charged. Set rate of £25.50.
3) All day session this session is 9.30am-5.30pm included all meals, refreshments, activities and transport. Set rate of £45.00.

We have an activities rota that changes weekly
• Group and individual discussions- general topics
• Musical entertainment – sing along song, visiting musicians
• Mental stimulation- board games, puzzles, films, crosswords,
• Craft – needle work, knitting, card making, and painting
• Cooking – cake making and decorating
• Gardening – flowerpots and boarders
Typical menu
We use local suppliers for our meat and fresh vegetables
Lunch
• Roast dinner with trimmings
• Sheppard’s pie
• Liver and bacon
• Sausage and mash
• Fish and chips
• Homemade pies and potatoes
Tea time
• Soup and rolls/ bread
• Sandwiches – egg, ham, cheese, jam
• Jacket potatoes with topping – cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, tuna,
• Toast with topping- poached egg, baked beans, cheese
• Salad- ham, egg, fish, cheese
We will have a fresh cake baked daily
Vegetarian options available on request, we can cater for food allergies and dietary needs.
