Description

This encompasses a wide variety of activities including painting, colouring pictures both to take home and decorate the centre. We use different types of colouring media from crayons, felt tips to water colours and oils. Desk easels are provided and staff are on hand to give assistance to individuals where necessary, including helping to apply paint to brushes and helping individuals to hold the brushes and crayons etc. We also create pictures from different types of materials, including glitter, rice, tissue paper and even crayon shavings amongst other things. We provide different types of glass vessels and other objects to paint.

Craft sessions can be used to create cards for celebratory occasions, bead threading, candle making, soap making, as well as producing items from a range of different materials including clay, papier mache etc. All of these activities being overseen by staff who are more than willing to give as much assistance as required to all participants to ensure that they can make full use of the various sessions.

Friday 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Saturday 1.00pm - 3.00pm
