Age UK Rotherham Social Centre is based in Rawmarsh at Lord Hardy Court providing high standards of service to older people who want to get back out to meet friends and respite for carers.  Our staff are committed to developing new initiatives which encourage older people to maintain independence.

What is on offer at the social centre:

• opportunities for new friendships , experiences and fun;
• social interaction and stimulation to relieve loneliness and isolation;
• a stimulating range of arts, crafts, games, gentle exercise, coffee mornings and social trips;
• help you stay active by maintaining links with the wider community;
• Staff and volunteers who listen and respond to views and comments and support attendees to participate in decision making
• opportunities for attendees to have a real say in the running of this service by helping to enable them  to continue their own chosen lifestyle;
• Hot and Cold mid day meals are available  and additional refreshments are available, or individuals can bring their own sandwich
