Companionship
AtPersonalized Care Services we understand life can be lonely for the elderly or people with complex health and social care needs. We have found from people we support that they do not always need a lot of help, but a companion on occasions to speak with and support activities they enjoy partaking in. Our caring and friendly staff can help. We understand that it is important to include a friendly face to your day, to have someone you trust, a familiar person. Our staff can share your interest with you; provide companionship in an individualised personal way. We have staff that have varied interests and during the planning stage we will pair our staff to meet your individual interests where this is something that is important to you. People we support have recognized that having a familiar companion helps to make them feel safe, happy and energised. People we support have said spending quality time with someone who is genuinely interested in them gives them confidence and raises their self-esteem; people feel this is important to them.
Some of the activities our companionship support offers assistance with are:
· Attending family or other social events
