Creative Day is suitable for young through elder adults with moderate to severe learning, intellectual and physical disabilities.

Often seen as one of the warmest communities in the region, receiving national press for innovative projects that bring the best qualities and behaviours from members; a quietly known secret.

Welcoming anytime visits or contact from families, care teams and staff, and local authority social services about how we can better support your loved one or client; especially as an alternative to higher profile options.

Most often members are reasonably capable; can communicate at least a little, are somewhat mobile, and semi-independent. We best fit members who require greater freedom of expression, the ability to change projects through the creative day, and have a good spirit - especially those in danger of becoming isolated in the community. Existing members travel to us from throughout the city, East Riding and North Lincolnshire. In some cases we can collect you and drop you off.

As an alternative to Personal Assistant (PA) services, we strive to deliver best value for money; being fully-contained, there is no need to constantly think through destinations to visit, or incur the unknown expenses of travel and destination costs which can be substantial over the course of the year - these additional personal costs are often unconsidered by social service teams when considering suitable ways to enrich the lives of vulnerable adults. However, with higher need members and those who require hygiene support, we recommend their bringing a PA with them.
