Description
This course looks at inclusion as a real life experience rather than a strategic objective. We will discover and explore what inclusion and exclusion means and find ways of making inclusion a reality for ourselves and other people in our lives.
Aims
Inclusion has become a very commonly used word within social care and education, but what does it actually mean. The term Inclusion has been something that has been embedded in services and education as a target within strategic implementation and business / work plans. This level of commitment has been a wonderful addition to the work of education and social care making differences for young people and adults who are otherwise excluded.
Although people still ask what does Inclusion mean?, this course aims to take the learner away from strategic objectives and spend a day developing an acute awareness of what inclusion means for the individual and how a person experiences Inclusion. This informed course will support anyone who would like to see more inclusive practices and lifestyles.
