Supporting people with complex needs, learning disabilities, communication conditions, autism, sensory impairments and physical disabilities with their relationships, sexual expression and sex education.

We design, develop and deliver work program and individual guidelines with people with disability on feelings, information, values and skills development, including self awareness, emotional well being, sexual health, sexuality, social and personal skills of relationships, women and mens issues, concept of public and private, communication skills, consent and the law. The sessions are concerned with the rights, responsibilities and personal safety of relationships.

Staff work practice support and training on skills development, attitudes and sexuality awareness, the law and consent, working with carers and partners, work program design using person-centered approaches within an inclusive and diversity focused framework.

Coaching staff involved in sex and relationship work and its impact on personal and professional concerns.

Developing positive responses and behaviour management plans to address the persons unique needs, strengths, communication and learning styles, maximizing personal safety and minimizing vulnerability.

Create consistent approaches with partners in circle of support to facilitate the person with disabilities develop the skills and independence required in building safe relationships and confidence to access work experience and the community.

Up Close and Personal - Training days for services, support workers and family carers who respond to the sex and relationship needs of people with disabilities.

Staff and carers may need 1 or more days support, they may want to write a sex and relationship work policy and guidelines for the service you use. Some may want to run men and women groups or work individually with someone on their sex and relationship needs, and want a course on planning, ideas, activities and resources to do this.

You have people in your life from different places, family, carers and support workers who may want training on how to work as partners in your circle of support.

This service is available throughout England, the cost of £500.00 is for 5 hours and does not include expenses.
