School Holiday and Weekend Clubs– registered with Ofsted
Active offers a range of out of school clubs, exclusively for children and young people with additional needs, across Kirklees, Calderdale and Bradford.
Our activity bases provide a clean, safe and stimulating environment where an extensive range of activities are available. It is also a base for trips out. The service provides opportunities for children and young people to relax and enjoy themselves with friends, try new activities, learn new skills and have fun. Active has a large, diverse staff team who have been trained to support the diverse and sometimes complex needs of our children and young people.
Children and young people are involved in the design, delivery and evaluation of the service using communication methods they understand.

After School Club - transport from Castle Hill and Longley Schools available – opening times 15.00 to 18.00
Saturday, Sunday and School Holiday Club 6 hour sessions – opening times 9.00 and 16.00
Wheelchair accessible transport between home and Activity Base available
Activities include
• Free-play and structured activities
• Relaxation and sensory stimulation in multisensory room
• Use of IT Suite
• Art and craft sessions
• Cooking and baking activities
• Stories, sing and sign, board games and jigsaws

• Chillax Kids Club (5 to13 years) – 09.30 to 14.30 - £27.06 per day – no transport
• Out and About Club (11+ years) – 09.30 to 14.30 - £36.49 per day – no transport
