The aim of THE LADS is to enable its service users to:
• Meet new people, develop positive relationships and make new friends
• Develop confidence, independence and build self-esteem
• Have fun and enjoy yourself
• Learn new life skills; communication, teamwork, problem solving, money management and social skills
• Empower themselves, share their thoughts and opinions and make positive choices
• Feel supported with other day-to-day tasks, such as form filling, attending appointments and applying for benefits etc

Activities include:
• Sports /football
• Cinema
• Football, Bowling, Swimming, Gym, Running, Mountain biking
• Holidays abroad / weekends away
• Camping / Hiking trips
• Interactive tours of community venues, such as fire / police stations
• Day trips; Xscape, Hornsea, Scarborough York etc.
• Shopping and budgeting
