Nantsidyll Farm Holiday and Respite Service is a division of Liral Veget College London.
The Farm is our holiday accommodation and respite round the year with full board or three meals per day for people with learning disabilities offering fun, adventure, and an opportunity to meet new friends. Located in Mydroilyn, North of Wales, Nantsidyll Farm is a stunning 7-acre farmland. With lots of opportunity to explore, it is a full working farm with a variety of animals and pets which can be therapeutic and aid relaxation.
Nantsidyll is located in a remote but accessible area in Mydroilyn which is very safe and secured environment. We offer transport services for those who require transportation to and from the Farm for an additional cost.
We also provide personal care, in-house activities such as laundry, cooking, shopping and outside activities such as helping clients who may want to feed the animals. Other activities can be arranged based on client’s preference or requirement.
The support staff have years of experience working with people with learning disabilities and are all QCF level 2 or 3 Diploma qualified in Health and Social Care, DBS Checked and supervised by a team leader or manager. All staff are trained to administer medication as well as emergency epileptic medication.
We offer holiday accommodation and respite round the year for people with learning disability and the elderly. The guests will have the opportunity to spend good time together in a cozy environment. The cottages have a traditional style decoration and are well prepared to receive people with learning disability and elderly. One of the accommodations is wheel chair accessible. (Rose Cottage) Going outside and being in a natural environment is a great way to support mental health.
Our guests will be able to relax and improve their concentration skills. Each accommodation is fully decorated one-bedroom cottage and two wooden lodges.
Nantsidyll farm is a full working farm with different types of animals and pets which are used for animal therapy. Only 20 minutes to the seaside, the property is ideally placed for exploring the dramatic Ceredigion coastline where bottlenose dolphins are often seen. Guests will also be able to fish at the picturesque fishing town of Aberaeron, only 6 miles away from the property. We can offer transportation to and from the farm if required. We also accept guests/ clients who wish to come self cater or bring their own staff. There are local tourist attractions nearby for the quests to explore with their support worker.
