St Wilfrids is a day service for vulnerable people who may suffer mental health problems or learning difficulties. In providing welfare services and a raft of educational activities including a skills workshop, we hope to help people overcome barriers of social exclusion and provide them with the opportunity to improve their quality of life. Clients come from throughout Sheffield. We welcome all people, regardless of creed, culture or race and can assure you of a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Computers
Today there’s no escaping computers and everyone’s getting onboard !!

We’re here to help you discover the wonders of the web, explore e-mails and marvel at the magic of Microsoft Word and Publisher. In no time at all you’ll be amazed at how quickly you’ll master new computer techniques through our one-to-one coaching and through our specially designed worksheets that build on your learning and practice. We’re with you every step of the way from Entry Level learning, Level 1 learning, Level 1+1 and Level 2 learning. For those who are new to computers you’ll find all the help you need with our easy to follow guidance and tutoring, and for those wanting to progress through the levels, you can build up your computer experience and receive our Certificate for the levels you achieve.

This course is very popular and so we’re expanding our classes to ensure that everyone can benefit and get onboard. Friday is our main day for computers and so if this doesn’t suit, you can always join our Thursday afternoon class to brush-up you skills, learn new methods and become more confident in using laptops and PC’s.

Availability & Pricing Information
Our costs for those eligible for Self Directed Support are £45.00 a full day and £30.00 for a half day session. This activity is run Fridays at 10.30am & 1.30pm.
