At Glanmore, we believe in providing opportunities for individuals to increase their confidence, enhance their daily living skills and increase their levels of independence. We encourage the people we support along their care pathway to achieve complete independence, to move back home to families or to move to supported living where possible.
People We Support
Glanmore provides care and support for 7 adults with the complex and challenging needs associated with mental health or a personality disorder. The philosophy of Glanmore is to support and enable the people towards independent living skills.
Our Focus
Our focus is on recovery. The recovery star model underpins our assessment and care planning processes. Careful risk taking and risk management is the key to progress. Glanmore has clinically trained staff in forensic risk management and has a proven track record in supporting complex risk individuals along the progression pathway.
A care pathway to more independence
Glanmore has experienced staff providing support according each person’s needs, and is suitable for adults leaving a nursing care environment, or secure setting and looking for greater levels of independence as part of their care pathway.
As part of an individuals care and rehabilitation, each person receives:

Activities
Activities available at Glanmore include access to the local college, local shopping and leisure centre etc. Activities are dependent on individual preferences. At Glanmore, we encourage every individual to be as active as possible both inside and outside of the home.
Staff
Our staff team pride themselves in putting the individual at the centre of their support and are renowned for their positive, empowering and caring approach. All staff undergo continual training and development, and specialist training is provided for bespoke individual support needs as part of the assessment and transition process.
Accommodation
Glanmore, has 7 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities. There are 2 ground floor rooms, 3 first floor rooms and 2 second floor. The second floor would lend itself to conversion into a separate suite for someone who requires more independent living. Glanmore has a large kitchen, dining room, lounge, conservatory and meeting room. Externally there is a rear lawn, patio area and car park.
