Description

Millstone is a small activity based resource. We offer a range of activities for up to 11 adults with learning difficulties such as:

• Arts and Crafts
• Cookery
• Container Gardening
• Computer Literacy
• Game Play
• Physical Exercises (through use of Wii)
• Relaxation
• Sensory play

We aim to create a welcoming, social and therapeutic environment where individuals can participate in activities and be a valued member of a social group. Our customers are treated with respect, dignity and equality whilst being encouraged to develop new skills and achieve their full potential. We respect individuality and choice and encourage each person to develop at their own pace.

Millstone runs two sessions per day, Monday to Friday: 10am – 12.30pm & 1pm – 3.30pm.

• Flexible/Extended hours can be considered in response to need and as assessed.  

• Drinks and snacks are provided. Customers staying all day need to provide a packed lunch.

Fees
Sessional costs:  £23 per session.
For additional 1:1 support: £14.50 per hour.
