Whether you are being looked after by a friend, a family member or a full time carer, everyone needs a rest sometimes so when that time arrives we are here to help. We can offer one off respite care to cover a special one off event your carer needs to attend such as a hospital appointment, a special social event, etc.

We can also offer a more regular respite care service varying from anything from once a week, fortnight or even once a month, to give your carer a regular break, be that simply an hour or two to relax in the bath and read a book, to a shopping trip or a day out on their own. Your carer normally happily puts your care requirements first so why not take this opportunity to return the favour and allow them some time off to relax.

We will arrange to visit you in your home to carry out a Care Assessment prior to your care starting. The Home Assessment is the perfect opportunity for you to meet us, address any questions you may have, and for us to explain everything to you. Together we will create your package of care which will include your personalised care plan detailing your specific needs on each visit. Once your care plan has been created it will be left in an agreed convenient location in your home so any carer that visits your home will be able to work from the care plan, thus removing the need for you to tell carers what to do each morning but you can add or remove daily tasks as you wish.

While we all always try where possible to send you one or two regular carers that you are able to build a relationship with but there may be times where we need to send you a different carer in order to cover sickness or holiday leave for example. If you are receiving long term live in care then your carers will normally work on a week on week off rota basis.

You can tell your carer or contact the care manager directly and make any changes to your current care package at any time. Your care package is unique to you in every way so we aim to be as flexible as possible to ensure you are always happy with the care you are receiving.

Services we offer include from washing, dressing, cooking and general housework, to taking you shopping, accompanying you on social events, going for lunch or days out and any other personal tasks or practical tasks that you may require.
