Description
In order to develop a support plan that meets the seven criteria required by your local authority, you will need to think carefully about what you would like your life to be like. This can feel a bit daunting so we have produced these cards to give you some ideas to help you when writing your plan. The cards describe different tools that you can use to help you think about the changes you may want to make in your life. They are divided into sections that help you to think about your life, what you want to change, what resources you have, generating ideas and recording your decisions. You do not have to use them all - just pick out the cards that will be most help. It is a good idea to read the Getting started cards before you begin. You can use these cards on your own, with family and friends or with anyone who is helping you develop your support plan. These cards are useful to individuals who want to write their support plan, and anyone who helps people with support planning.
