The Home
Raj Nursing Home is a private nursing home for Asian elderly with dementia and the disabled. Our aims are to provide a comfortable and proficient environment of care and accommodation which will take into account any culture or religious belief. However, we are experienced in Asian Culture and our style of care reflects this. Provision for respite care is dependent upon the availability of beds.
There is a choice of single or double rooms, all of which are decorated to the same high standards as the rest of the home. Each bed is equipped with a nurse call bell, television point and some rooms have en-suite facilities. The home also has its own prayer room at the rear of the garden.

The Care
Our establishment provides a homely atmosphere, which is achieved through beautiful décor, entertaining activities and good interaction between residents and staff. We provide a holistic approach to care which is complemented by outside professionals including GPs, Chiropodists, Dentists and Opticians. Meals are prepared in-house to cater for different ethnic group and special dietary requirements are catered for as necessary. All Asian food is catered for every day. Our unique manner of individualised care is reflected in the way our clients enjoy all the comforts of the home in a secure environment. All our staff speak Asian language.

The Facilities
Our aim is to have a full and varied Activities Programme which is planned in conjunction with the wishes of the residents. Special arrangements are made for birthdays and other celebrations, such as barbecues and garden parties in our beautifully maintained rear garden. We always extend a warm welcome to families and friends to visit and join in with these social activities. Asian music and Asian television programmes are always played. All Asian festivals are celebrated.
