The Hawthorns Rest Home is a registered care home situated in the leafy superb of Edgbaston. Established in 1989 our highly trained and qualified staff have been offering a full around the clock caring service in a true home from home friendly environment.

It is our belief that life in a care home should always be about choice and this is something we take pride in. No one should 'end up' in residential care. People have the right to feel as much 'at home' as possible.

At the Hawthorns this is our aim, to create a homely atmosphere where residents can choose breakfast in bed if they wish, can partake any hobby or activity that interests them, have access to alcoholic drinks if they so desire and to live life as they have done so for a good number of years.

We are proud to also have:
• Links with a 'Women and theatre group' who have held comedy courses at The Hawthorns
• Day-center visits for the residents where transport is provided.
